Tiësto (real name - Tijs Michiel Verwest) is a Dutch DJ, music producer, composer, fashion designer and philanthropist. He is one of the most awarded DJs in the history of electronic dance music.
For three years in a row, in 2002, 2003 and 2004, he was the # 1 DJ in the world DJ Mag Top 100.
He also received the title of the best DJ in the world at the International Dance Music Awards three times - in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
