Slayer is an American heavy metal band. The team was founded in 1981. Slayer led the musical movement of the American thrash metal after the release of the album Reign in Blood (1986), which is considered the best achievement of the group and the "classic thrash metal". Together with a bands Metallica, Megadeth, and Anthrax Slayer part of the "Big Four of thrash metal."
