André Léon Marie Nicolas Rieu is a Dutch conductor and violinist, called in the press as the "Waltz King" (similar to Johann Strauss). He is the son of conductor Andre Rieu Sr and achieved his greatest success with the creation of the waltz-playing Wiener Johann Strauss Orchestra. Popular in his performance, accompanied by this orchestra, was Anthony Hopkins' waltz "And The Waltz Goes On".
