Foo Fighters is an American rock band formed by former Nirvana member Dave Grohl in 1994.
The name is borrowed from the slang of American pilots of World War II, who called it (foo-fighters) unidentified flying objects and strange atmospheric phenomena that they saw in the skies over Europe and the Pacific Ocean.
While working with Nirvana, he remained in the studio and recorded his musical ideas, but after the breakup of the group due to the death of Kurt Cobain, he received offers from many bands, but refused and distributed the recorded recordings under the name Foo Fighters.
This sparked interest in the music industry and inspired the creation of a band with this name, which to this day has many fans all around the world.
