Christopher Anton Rea is a British singer and songwriter known for his characteristic hoarse voice and slide guitar sounding.
The singer achieved the top of his success in the late 1980s - early 1990s, with the release of the "The Road to Hell" studio album, which is considered as his best artwork by many fans and also by the "Auberge" album.
After a serious illness (repeated cancer with removal of the pancreas), he stops working with large record companies and starts recording exclusively blues music. Several albums have resulted, and at least two of them have unexpectedly been quite commercially successful: these are first of all "Dancing Down the Stony Road", which received the gold status, and "Santo Spirito Blues".
