Into The Vortex

Bound in flesh
It cloaks dark secrets
Concealed within the blackest forest
Released by wicked utterance
Cursed spirits shall torment the living

To reverse the devastation
Slender hopes reside within
Recitation in the vile tongue
A sinister irony

Dark spirits are enveloped
By the irresistible, churning vortex
No beast or man shall elude its potent grasp

Deposited in foreign lands
And epoch unfamiliar
While the peril are not
A journey to the grave to be freed
