Crepuscular Transcendence

Binah
Time only will set man's fate unbound
Whose adventure soul is lost, then found
As he wanders through sinking sands
And clouded hillsides to reach only murk

He'll cross through sun and shade alike
The horrid lure of defaced sirens left behind
Still he marches possessed and defiant
Blind and deaf to their harrowing cries

Past halls and corridors eternal
Around him, a landscape so sublime
Of arches and pillars immemorial
Uneven, ravaged by time

As the ground rattles beneath the waves
A godless engine from untold depths

Reaching the abyssal skies of indigo
Where the trail's edge meets the cruellest of seas
He'll ride the deathly waves of vertigo
And slumber when ashore, still mortal and unredeemed
