It's 4 o'clock in the morning
Suddenly I'm wide awake
Lying here in the darkness
With images I just can't shake

Got those demons in the night
I can't wait for the dawn to break

It's the loneliest time
There's a knife cutting through my brain
My mind is in a tangle
For the fear's rising up again

It's so hard to stand up straight

I lie tossing and turning
Waiting for the light to come
Then I can face my worries
