A Clairvoyant Moment

In such a short amount of time
Impressions made were nothing but great
A significant impact was made
That wont disintegrate without a trace

In some selfish god's grace
Lucky enough to have good company
Spark my mind constantly
No saying goodbye
Or reason to question why
When you let it be known
You're still here on our journey

A presence felt that gives the chills
Is a reminder there is no sitting still
The here and the now wont last for long
Ignore what's been stolen and take it for granted

What was imminent could not be changed
Not after the fact, just allowed to react
Attempt to keep what's left of heartstrings intact
Or perpetuate the fading to black

All said and done

All has been forgiven but can't ever be forgotten
Live and die with your decision, the only choice you will ever be given

Drown out sinking feelings for now
Your doubt only keeps you down and out
