Melanie Janene Thornton is an African-American singer whose career ascended in Germany. She was a soloist of the La Bouche popular band and was very famous with many hits of the 90s, for example "Be My Lover", "Sweet Dreams", "Fallin 'In Love" and others.
Her life was tragically cut short in a plane crash in November 2001 in Switzerland.
Melanie's memorable solo compositions include hits "Love How You Love Me", "Wonderful Dream" and "Heartbeat".
