Montero Lamar Hill, known as Lil Nas X, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia.
He became known after releasing his single titled “Old Town Road” in the country rap style. The track became popular by becoming part of one of the challenges (“Yeehaw Challenge”) on the TikTok social network.
The song managed to reach the first line on the Billboard Hot 100, and after the first week in the Hot Country Songs chart, it was unexpectedly removed from the charts, getting to the nineteenth position.
