American indie-rock band in 2009 becames famous all over USA thanks to their sets at the Bonnar and Lollapooluse festivals. When vocalist John Gurley came up with the band's name, he knew about Portugal only the name of the capital and about the beautiful beaches - so "Portugal sounds cool". Due to this, the group has gained immense recognition in Portugal since its inception.
Released in July 2011 on Atlantic Records, The In The Mountain In The Cloud turned the band into the musical grace. The musicians got on the TV show Conan O'Brien and on the ninth line in the list of the best albums on the MTV poll. By the end of 2011, with the help of the same Atlantic Records, the band got to popular festivals and TV shows. Sales of the record were successful, and the number of fans of the group doubled.
