James Andrew Arthur is a British musician, winner of the ninth season of The X Factor. His debut single, Shontelle's "Impossible" cover, was released by Syco Music after The X Factor's final, and debuted at #1 on the UK Singles Chart.
Arthur parted with Syco record label in 2014 and was signed a contract with Columbia Records in 2015 to release "Back from the Edge" second studio album, also was re-signed to Syco in 2016. The album's lead single, titled "Say You Won't Let Go" and released in 2016, saw great success, peaking at #1 on the UK Singles Chart and selling close to 3 million copies at 2021. He has won and been nominated for several music awards.
In 2019 released his third studio album, "You". This album gains success and have got #2 of the UK Albums Chart and pave a great road for his last release, "It'll All Make Sense In The End" album in 2021 and further.
