Black Stone Cherry is an American rock band formed in 2001. Its sound consisted of vocals and guitar passages from Chris Robertson, accompanied by artistic participation Ben Wells (rhythm guitar, backing vocals) with support from Jon Lawhon (bass guitar, backing vocals) and John Fred Young (drums, backing vocals).
The group has released many studio LPs, several live albums and EPs, actively and successfully continuing their creative path to the top of world fame. Until 2015, the group had a contract with Roadrunner Records, then changed publishers and is now collaborating with Mascot Label Group.
Bassist Jon Lawhon left the band due to personal reasons in 2021. Steve Jewell from the southern rock band OTIS becomes the new bass player.
In 2023, the group updated their discography with another successful release of their "Screamin' At The Sky" album, which pleased fans and assures critics with high charts positions.
