ABC is a British new wave, new romantic and synthpop music group that was one of the most popular new wave bands of the early 1980s, which achieved popularity not only in the UK, but also in other countries of the world, especially in the USA.
Initially called Vice Versa, the group featured future ABC musicians Stephen Singleton, Mark White and were joined in the late 1970s by vocalist Martin Fry, who was the only permanent member in the history of ABC.
The work of the band members was influenced by David Bowie and Roxy Music. ABC achieved success with their commercially successful album "The Lexicon of Love" and the hits "Poison Arrow", "Look of Love", "All of My Heart", "(How to Be) a Millionaire", "Be Near Me". The group continues to tour to this day.
