Anthrax is an American heavy metal band playing thrash metal, speed metal and groove metal (later work). Founded in 1981 in New York.

Four studio albums (Among The Living, State of Euphoria, Persistance of Time, Sound of White Noise) and a collection Attack of The Killer B's became the "gold" in the United States. The group appeared in the popular American TV series, starred in a couple of movies, and also the song Anthrax «Madhouse» and «Now It's Dark» can be heard in video games.
